Trek Dooars

Being based in Rajabhatkhawa means we are right where the action is for anyone wanting to see the greenery. Trek Dooars is a small outfit. We don't have a massive team or a skyscraper office. It's just a few of us who know the area well. Rajabhatkhawa is a gateway, so we see a lot of travelers passing through our doors. We spend our time organizing walks and trips into the woods or along the mountain trails. It's mostly about logistics—making sure there's enough water, checking the weather, and knowing which paths are blocked after a heavy rain. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like what we do. Sometimes the rain here is so heavy we can't do much but sit inside and clean the gear. People come to us because they want to see the real side of the region, not the tourist traps. We show them the maps and tell them what to expect. It’s honest work. The office can be a bit dusty because we're always coming and going from the outdoors. We don't worry too much about having a perfect office space. As long as the gear is in good shape and the plans are solid, we're happy. It's a simple life here. We work hard when the season is busy and take it easy when it's quiet. Usually, there is some tea brewing and someone telling a story about the last trek they took.
