Surajpal Enterprises sits in Saray Kazi, over in Atrauli. It’s a busy little corner of Aligarh. We’ve been here a good while now. The building isn't new, but it stays standing through the seasons. We do our best to keep things organized, even if it doesn’t always look perfect to an outsider. It’s a family-run kind of thing mostly. We don't bother with big ads or anything like that. Most people who come to us are regulars or they heard about us from someone else in town. That’s how it works here in Uttar Pradesh. Word of mouth is everything. The traffic in Saray Kazi can be a real headache in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit and watch the world go by when things are slow. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to stay open and keep the lights on for another year. It’s a simple life. Some days are long, especially when the heat is bad. But we like being part of the community here. Surajpal Enterprises is just a small office with a few people trying to make a living. No fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. If you pass by, you might see us sitting outside for a bit of air. That’s just us. We don't have much else to say. We just get on with it every day. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we do.
