Nahar Enterprises

Nahar Enterprises is a small business based in Saray Kaaji, over in Atrauli. We’re situated in Aligarh, which is a busy place to be. Our workspace isn’t very large, but we make it work for everything we need to do. It’s mostly just a few guys here every day. We’ve lived in this area of Uttar Pradesh our whole lives, so we know the neighborhood like the back of our hands. We don't really use much technology beyond what's necessary. A lot of our business is done through old-fashioned conversation and handshakes. There's an old dog that hangs around the entrance most afternoons, and we usually give him some scraps from our tiffin. He’s basically part of the staff now, though he mostly just sleeps in the shade. It’s those small things that make the day go by easier. The street outside can get pretty cramped with carts and motorcycles, but that’s just the way it is in the mohalla. We try to keep things tidy inside, even when it gets busy. We don't have any grand plans to expand or become a huge company. We just want to keep doing what we're doing and support our families. People stop by to chat as much as they do for business. It feels more like a community spot than just a store sometimes. We don't use any slick slogans. If you need something we have, you can buy it.
