Shilas International

Our office is located at 2/668, D-4, in Lane No. 3 of Rambagh Colony. We are also off Ramghat Road, but tucked away in the residential part. It’s a quiet lane, mostly, except when the neighbors are out. We’ve got a small space here where we handle all our international business stuff. It is mostly paperwork, tracking shipments, and talking to people in different time zones. Sometimes I’m here late at night because of the time difference, drinking way too much coffee. The room is filled with folders and samples of things we’ve sent out over the years. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the system. The neighbors sometimes wonder what we’re doing with all those boxes, but we just keep to ourselves mostly. Lane Number 3 is a nice place to work because it’s not as loud as the main road. You can actually hear yourself think. We started this because we wanted to see if we could move local products to other countries. It’s had its ups and downs, like any business, but we’re still going. We don’t have any fancy corporate goals or anything like that. We just try to make sure the boxes get where they’re supposed to go without getting stuck in customs. It’s a lot of small details that most people wouldn't care about. We just do what we can to stay organized.
