Moon Up Brass

We are located out on I.T.I. Road in Risal Singh Nagar. Moon Up Brass is the name we’ve used for years. The area is a bit quieter than the main city markets, which is nice, but it’s still a hardworking place. Our building is usually covered in a fine layer of dust from the polishing work we do. We have a few machines running and a small team of guys who know how to handle the brass. It’s not a glamorous job. You end up with metal dust on your clothes and grease on your hands by noon. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the pieces we make. Sometimes we have to redo things if they don’t look right, which is frustrating but part of the process. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come to the workshop if they need to see what we’re doing. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and handle the money. We drink a lot of tea to stay going throughout the day. The road outside has its ups and downs, but we stay put. It’s just a regular local business where we show up and do the work we know how to do. The sun sets early behind the trees here, and that is usually when we start packing up.
