We operate out of the Mall Godown on Railway Road. Sheeran Handicraft is mostly about the work we do with our hands every day. It’s a bit dusty in here sometimes because of all the materials, but that’s the nature of making things from scratch. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most people just find us at the godown when they’re looking for something specific. We spend a lot of time cutting, polishing, and putting pieces together. It’s not fast work, and sometimes we run behind if a shipment of wood or metal doesn't show up on time at the station. The Railway Road area is always moving, so there’s plenty of noise outside while we’re inside working. We started doing this because we like the process of building things that last. It’s just a few of us here, and we handle everything from unloading the raw stuff to finishing the final items. You might see us sitting out front during a break, having tea and talking about the next project. We don’t do much advertising; people usually hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a simple business. We focus on the items we make and try to get them right. If you stop by, you’ll probably see us covered in sawdust or paint, just getting through the day's orders. We just keep our heads down and work on what's in front of us.
