Modern Safe Company

We run the Modern Safe Company over by Achal Tal on GT Road, right near DS College. It’s a workshop and a showroom all in one. We have all kinds of safes sitting out—big heavy ones for offices and smaller ones for homes. Most days you’ll hear the sound of metal being worked on because we do a lot of repairs and custom fittings. The shop has been here a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. Being on GT Road means there’s always people walking by, especially students from the college. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are if they need to lock something up. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone around to help, even if we’re in the back working on a lock. The floors are concrete and there’s iron dust in the corners, but that’s just the nature of working with steel. We don’t have a fancy sales team or anything like that. If you come in, you just talk to whoever is behind the counter. We’ll show you how the different locks work and which safe is the heaviest. It’s honest work and we take it seriously because people are trusting us with their valuables. You can find us easily if you know where the college is. We’re just a local shop doing what we’ve always done.
