Burgeon Trading Company

Burgeon Trading Company is located at House-165 near the Hathivala Pool. It is right by Delhi Gate and close to Nadar Mahal, so it’s a very old part of town with a lot of history. The streets can get pretty narrow and crowded around here, especially during the day. Our place is basically a house that we use for our trading business. It’s full of ledgers, stock, and the sound of the old ceiling fans. Because we are in such an old area, the building has its own character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We deal with various goods and supplies, moving things in and out through the gate. It is a bit of a puzzle sometimes getting deliveries through the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a big modern warehouse with forklifts and stuff; it’s more manual and personal. Most of our days are spent on the phone or talking to vendors who drop by for tea and business. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We have been operating from this spot for quite some time. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the trade and making sure our customers get what they ordered. It is honest work in a busy neighborhood and we like it that way.
