Our office is located in Aligarh, specifically at House Number 4/47 inside the Chase Compound on Jail Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot around this part of town, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We work for the Birla Sunlife Insurance Co LTD. The office is set up in a bit of an older building, but it works perfectly fine for what we need. We have enough space for all the filing cabinets and the computer desks. Jail Road is always busy with people going back and forth all day long. We see a lot of people who just walk in because they have a quick question about their life insurance policy or they want to pay their monthly premiums in person. We aren't part of some big fancy corporate headquarters with glass walls, just a local branch office doing its thing every day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to wait a bit for things to come back on, but we always get the work done eventually. We have a small staff here and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to filing death claims or processing maturity papers. It’s practical, everyday work. We don’t use a lot of polished or fancy language because that’s just not who we are as people. We just talk to the folks who come in like they are our neighbors, because usually, they actually are. The Chase Compound has been here for a long time and has its own history. We try our best to keep things tidy, but there’s always a lot of paper moving around the desks. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a steady pace and we genuinely like the people we get to meet every day.
