Vembanad Food Products

Our place, Vembanad Food Products, is located at 56, Ayyappanchery Varanam Road in Puthanagadi. We are part of the Panavally area in Alappuzha. If you know the roads around here, we are not too hard to find. It is a beautiful part of the world to work in. We have a lot of space around us and the air is fresh. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to home. Most of us grew up around Alappuzha. We handle food products the old-fashioned way without a lot of big machines. It takes more time but we think it’s better that way. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a marketing person. It is just us in the shed making sure everything is packed correctly. Sometimes the humidity makes things difficult, but that is just part of living in this region. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of what comes in and what goes out. We are not a giant corporation with investors to worry about. We just worry about the people who buy our food. It is a quiet life here in Panavally. We just want to keep doing what we are doing for as long as we can. It feels good to be a local business. We just take it one day at a time.
