Uthradam Steels

If you find yourself at Vazhiyambalam Junction, you’ll likely spot Uthradam Steels. We are located at number 4659 on the Karuvatta Veeyapuram Road. This part of Karuvatta is a good spot because a lot of people pass through the junction on their way to other towns. The road can get quite busy with buses and local traffic heading towards Veeyapuram. Our shop is a practical space where we keep all the steel stock. It isn't a place for sitting around; we are usually on our feet moving stuff or loading up a vehicle. The weather here can be quite humid, so we are often sweating while we work. We have a lot of trees around this area which helps with some shade in the afternoons. Most of the people who come into Uthradam Steels are locals who are doing some building work or contractors from the nearby villages. We don't have any fancy displays or a reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and the people in Karuvatta. We have been part of the Vazhiyambalam Junction community for a while now. The days are long, especially when the sun is high, but we just keep at it. It is a honest way to make a living and we appreciate being in this part of the country. We just focus on getting the orders ready and sent out.
