Way down here in Kollam, specifically in Sooranad North, is where we run things. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Puthen Purackal Tharayil, but everyone around here knows the spot. We are primarily into construction work involving metals, which means we spend a lot of time out at sites or prepping materials here at our base. Kerala is beautiful but the rain really dictates when we can get the heavy work done. We’ve got a small team and most of us grew up not too far from here. Metal Crafts Constructors started because there was a need for reliable building work in the district. We don't go for big city office styles. Our space is practical. There are piles of beams and welding gear everywhere you look. We talk to our clients like neighbors because usually, they are. It’s about getting the roof or the frame up before the next monsoon hits. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more people moving in and more houses going up. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current project. If we say we’ll be there, we try our best to show up on time, though the back roads can be tricky. It is a busy life but it’s good to see something you built standing strong years later. We don't need much more than that to feel alright about the work.
