We are Steel Authority Of India and we are located at Sreejalayam in Thattarampalam. This is in Mavelikara, Kerala, pin code 690103. Our setup here is a bit different from the big industrial cities because we are based in a more local, quiet area of Kerala. Sreejalayam is where we handle our business affairs. It’s a simple place, not some massive office complex. We like it that way because it feels more connected to the community. People around Thattarampalam know us well enough. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. We just do our work and try to be helpful when people come by with questions. Mavelikara is a nice place to be based, even if it’s far from the main steel plants. We manage the local coordination and whatever else needs doing for the company in this region. The office is basically just a few rooms where we keep our records and handle the mail. It can get a bit humid here, as you’d expect in Kerala, but we’ve got our fans and our routine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the job done right and keep things running smoothly. If you’re ever near the Thattarampalam post office, you’re not far from us. We’ve been here for a good bit now and it feels like home. There is always tea around and plenty of work to keep us occupied during the week.
