Sliders Cafe

We started Sliders Cafe here in Vallikavu a while back. It is mostly just us making food we like eating ourselves. The place in Clappana is simple and doesn't have much decoration. We have some tables and chairs, but nothing fancy or expensive. People come in after work or school to grab something quick to eat. Most days it gets a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We do burgers mostly, usually the small kind that people call sliders. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients if it is a busy Tuesday. That is just how it goes here and we don't stress about it too much. We keep the coffee pot going all day long. The kitchen isn't huge so you might have to wait a few minutes if there is a big crowd. We try to keep things clean and tidy. The weather gets really hot in Clappana, so the fans are always on full blast. We didn't really have a big plan when we opened this spot. We just wanted a place for people to hang out and have a bite. You will usually see one of us behind the counter. We know most of the regulars by their first names now. It feels more like a hobby that turned into a real job. Nothing special, just a regular shop. If you are walking by, you can see us through the front window. It is a decent place to sit.
