Safa Metals

Over in Kodathikavala, Cherthala, we run Safa Metals. It is a simple shop where we deal with all kinds of metal pieces and scraps. We have been at this location for a good while, and most of the locals know where to find us. The yard can get a bit messy with all the different materials lying around, but we try to keep some kind of order. It is heavy work, lots of lifting and sorting through things all day long. We do not have any big corporate branding or anything like that. Just a sign out front and the sound of metal clanging throughout the day. Cherthala is a nice place to be, and Kodathikavala is a busy enough corner for what we do. We get all sorts of people coming in, from builders looking for parts to folks just trying to clear out some old junk. We just weigh it and handle the trade. It is not a complicated business model. Some days it is raining and we have to cover everything up with tarps, which is a bit of a pain. But we have lived through plenty of seasons here. We are not trying to be the biggest around, just a place where people can come and get their metal needs sorted without any fuss or trouble. We are usually here from morning till the sun goes down, just working through the pile.
