Roaming Kerala

Roaming Kerala is our small operation located in Sanathanapuram, Alleppey. We aren't a big travel agency with a glass building. We just have a small office where we handle trips and tours around the area. Alleppey is full of backwaters and boats, so that's where we spend a lot of our time. We talk to drivers and boat owners every day. Our desks are covered in maps and notes about schedules. It’s not a very formal place. You might find a few of us drinking tea and arguing about the best route for a guest. We don't use a lot of fancy travel lingo. We just tell people what we know about the local spots. Some days the rain in Alleppey makes things a bit slow, but we still show up to answer the phone. We've lived here a long time, so we know the hidden corners that aren't on the main maps. It’s a lot of organizing and double-checking. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few people who like being outside. We handle the bookings and the logistics from this little spot in Sanathanapuram. People usually find us through friends or by just walking past. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep things moving and help people see the place we live in. That's really all there is to our small office and how we spend our days.
