We opened Coffee Land at Vayyankara Junction because there wasn't much around here for people to just sit for a bit. Sooranad is home for us, and the junction is always busy with people coming and going from work or running errands. We figured a spot to get a cup would fit right in. It’s not fancy or anything. Just some chairs, a counter, and the smell of coffee when you walk in. Most mornings we are here early to get things ready before the first rush. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. Some people just want their drink and to leave, while others talk about the weather or what’s happening in town. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the place stays clean and the coffee stays hot. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets too crowded, but we manage. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to keep the locals happy and keep the doors open. It’s a lot of work, honestly. Cleaning filters, sweeping the floor, and checking the stock takes up most of the day. But when the afternoon quiet hits and you see someone enjoying a break, it feels like we’re doing something okay. We’ve been here at Vayyankara Junction for a while now and hope to stay as long as people keep coming by. There isn't much more to it than that.
