Chithira Steel

Chithira Steel is out here in the Cheavara area. It is a fairly quiet spot most days, but the yard stays active. We handle a lot of steel parts and materials for various projects. Usually, someone is always around the site to help with whatever is needed, though we might be in the back. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we manage the orders and the deliveries. If you're coming through the district, you might have seen our gate near the post office. We’ve been operating from this spot for a bit now. Dealing with steel means a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around on the trucks. The guys in the back are usually busy with the inventory or sorting through the scrap. It can get quite dusty and loud during the afternoon, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. We don't have a lot of staff, just enough to keep things running. Sometimes the phone rings and other days it’s just regular walk-ins from the neighborhood. We don’t really do much in terms of promotion. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about the yard from someone else in Cheavara. We just focus on getting the steel where it needs to go. It’s honest work and we keep at it day after day without any of the fancy corporate stuff you see elsewhere.
