Bcm Foods is tucked away at Door No. 20/356 in Aroor. If you know the area, it's not too hard to find, but for strangers, the numbering can be a bit confusing. We deal with food products. It’s a lot of packing and checking labels. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get the work done. Early mornings are the busiest. That’s when the deliveries start coming in and the whole place smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it's spices, other times it’s different grains. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby in Aroor, so we just walk or bike in. There’s no big HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over tea during our break. We spend a lot of time making sure the bags are sealed right. If a machine breaks down, things get a bit chaotic until we can get it fixed. We aren't trying to be some giant international brand. We just want to make sure the food we send out is what people expect. The floor gets swept a dozen times a day because crumbs and dust are everywhere. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s steady. We keep our heads down and focus on the orders. It’s not complicated, but it takes time to get everything right for the customers who buy from us.
