Cocotero

Cocotero is located in Aravukad, over in Arthunkal. It’s a quiet area, and we like it that way. We work with what we have around us, mostly things related to the local environment here. The name Cocotero is something we’ve had for a bit, and people in the area know us by it. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls; it’s more of a practical space where we get things done. Most of the time, we are just managing the daily tasks that come with running a small business in a place like Arthunkal. The pace of life is a bit slower here than in the big cities, and we don't mind that at all. We spend our mornings checking on whatever we have in progress and the afternoons are usually for finishing up and talking to people who stop by. There isn't a big team of people here, just a few of us making sure everything keeps moving. It can be a bit humid, being where we are, but you get used to it after a lifetime. We don’t really spend money on big ads or anything. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have heard about us through someone else in the village. It’s a very direct and honest way to work, and we plan to keep it that way for the foreseeable future. We keep the place tidy but it's clearly a working spot where we stay busy with our hands and the salty air.
