Vijay Gore

Up here in Akola, things are a bit different than the big cities like Mumbai or Pune. I’m Vijay Gore, and I operate out of my family’s place, C/O Jayaram S. Gore. The address is in Maharashtra, 444004. It’s a quiet spot, and we like it that way. The pace of life is slower, which gives us time to actually focus on what we are doing. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy warehouse. It’s mostly just family and a few local guys who help out when the season gets busy. The weather can be quite harsh, especially in the summer, so we usually start our work very early in the morning to beat the heat. By midday, everyone is looking for shade. I grew up here, so I know the area and the people well. Most of our business comes from word of mouth. Someone knows someone who needs help, and they send them to us. We don’t do much advertising. We just try to be honest and do a good job so people come back. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it’s worked for us for a long time. My father taught me that your name is the most important thing you have. So, I just try to keep the name Vijay Gore associated with decent, honest work. That's really all there is to it at the end of the day.
