Yash Craft India

Our place, Yash Craft India, is tucked away near Gaughat in the Bajrang Garh area. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you get here, you see all the stuff we’ve got going on. There’s always someone working on a piece of wood or some fabric, depending on what the day brings. The air smells like sawdust and sometimes paint. Paushkar is a busy little neighborhood, and we’re right in the middle of it. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and see the tools spread out on the tables. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. We've been at this address for a long time. It’s not a big corporate setup. It's just us and the things we make. The walls are covered in marks and old sketches from years ago. Usually, someone’s radio is playing in the back. We spend our time making sure the crafts are done right, though things get messy often. It is a real workshop, not a showroom. If you visit, you might have to step over a few boxes. That’s just how it is here. We like the quiet of Bajrang Garh in the mornings before the rest of the city wakes up. We just keep at it, day after day, making things by hand.
