Shri Vishvanaths

Our place, Shri Vishvanaths, is situated over on Ashok Marg, right by the Savitri Choraha on Jaipur Road. It is a bit of a different vibe compared to the middle of the old city because the road is much wider here, though the traffic moves a lot faster. We get a lot of people stopping by because they are heading out of town or just coming in from the Jaipur side. The building is a standard brick structure and we have a bit of space out front where people sometimes park their scooters. It is usually just one or two of us working at a time. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors and wait for the day to start. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so it can get quite bright inside. We have some old chairs in the back where we sit and have tea when things are quiet. It is not the most modern setup you will find, but it works for what we do. We like the fact that we are easy to find once you get to the crossroads. Sometimes the dust from the Jaipur Road gets everywhere, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. It is a straightforward business, and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is.
