Murti Arts

We have been working out of this spot at 3 Circular Road in Ajmer for quite some time now. It’s not a big fancy studio, just a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. If you walk by, you’ll probably see a lot of stone dust and various tools scattered around the benches. We spend most of our hours chipping away at different materials or trying to get a particular shape just right. Sometimes the weather in Ajmer makes the work a bit harder, especially when it gets really hot in the middle of the day, but we just take a break and get back to it later. The neighborhood is fairly busy, but inside the shop, we just focus on the task in front of us. We don't really have a big team or a lot of office staff. It is mostly just a couple of us who know how to handle the materials. People from the local area usually stop in when they need something specific made for their home or a small project. We don't do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth seems to work well enough for us. It’s a simple way of living, honestly. We show up, we do the work, and we head home. The floor is rarely clean, and there is always a new project waiting in the corner. That’s just how it is here at the shop.
