Smart Job

You’ll find us at Vishant Vihar Colony 16, near Agra Gate. We call our little setup Smart Job. It’s a basic placement office where we try to help folks in the area find decent work. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just a desk and some chairs. People from the colony and the surrounding areas drop by to see if we’ve heard of any new openings. We spend a lot of our time talking to local shop owners and small businesses to see who they might need. It’s very much a local operation. We don’t have a mission statement or a set of corporate values on the wall. We just want to help people get a paycheck. Sometimes we help people fix up their resumes if they look a bit messy. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down in ledgers and making notes. The office can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fan going and keep working. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the city. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. It’s honest, plain work and we like the people we meet. It’s a small space, but we manage to get quite a bit of work done every day for our neighbors.
