Signature Computers

Signature Computers is right on Mayo College Link Road in Pratap Nagar. We are at number 8. It is an easy spot to find if you are heading towards the college gates. The shop is small but we manage to fit a lot of stuff inside. You will usually see laptops and spare parts piled up near the front window. We started this place because we liked messing around with computers, and it just eventually turned into a daily job for us. It is mostly local students and families from the Pratap Nagar area who come in to see us. We do not have a uniform or a script for how we talk to people. We just say hello and see what they need help with. Sometimes we are fixing a broken screen, other times we are just helping someone set up an email account. The back room is where the real work happens, though it is a bit of a mess with all the tools and screws scattered around. We keep the door open mostly so we can see what is happening on the street. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. We have known some of our customers for a long time. They stop by even if they do not need anything fixed, just to say hi. It is a simple way to run a business. We are not trying to be huge, just a reliable one for the neighborhood.
