Shree Krishna Bricks

You can find us right near the Government Hospital in Beawar. Shree Krishna Bricks has been sitting on this patch of land for a long time. It’s a busy spot because of the hospital traffic, so there’s always something going on nearby. We spend our days hauling clay and making sure the kilns stay at the right temperature. It’s not easy work, especially during the summer months when the heat is bouncing off the baked bricks. We have a small team from the village and we all just pitch in where needed. Some days we’re loading trucks, other days we’re just turning the drying bricks so they don’t crack. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing plan. Most people just know us because they pass by the post office or the hospital and see the stacks. It gets pretty muddy around here when the rains come, which can make moving the heavy loads a real pain. We try to get as much done as possible during the dry season. It’s a straightforward business. We make the bricks, we stack them, and folks come by to pick them up for their construction projects. Sometimes we sit around the tea stall nearby and talk about how the season is going. It’s just regular life for us here in Beawar. We’re just local people doing a job that’s been done the same way for generations. We don't need much more than that.
