Ragaas

Ragaas is tucked away in Nagra Market, which is on Nasirabad Road in Ajmer. Our exact spot is 611/31. If you get lost, just look for the Shiv Shankar Bakery in Nagra, because we are right near there. It’s a lively market area with a lot of noise and people moving about. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the bustle. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s usually a bit of flour smell in the air from the bakery next door, which isn't a bad thing at all. We mostly deal with locals who know the area well. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a big mall. It’s a real, grit-on-the-floor type of market shop. We do our best to stay organized, though it gets a bit cluttered when we’re busy. My father started this and now I’m helping out too. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and some basic tools. People in Ajmer seem to appreciate that we’re straightforward. We don't try to be something we’re not. If you need something, you just come in and ask. That’s how it works here. It’s a busy life in Nagra, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just regular folks trying to make a living in the market.
