Prj Gyanjaya School is over on Dungri Road in Beawar. It is a bit of a climb depending on which way you are coming from. The school is a fairly straightforward building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We have got the usual classrooms and a small office where we keep all the records in big steel cupboards. The road outside can get a bit congested when school lets out, with all the rickshaws and parents waiting. We spend our mornings getting the assembly ready and making sure everyone is in their lines. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time. We know which kids are brothers and sisters and whose parents are likely to be late for pickup. The playground is not huge, but there is enough room for a quick game during lunch. We have a few trees that provide some shade, which is where the staff usually sits if the staff room feels too cramped. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply, so we have to keep an eye on the tanks. It is just the daily reality of running a school in a place like Beawar. We do not make a big deal out of things. We just try to make sure the bells ring on time and the kids are doing their lessons. It is a busy, slightly messy, and very normal place in 305901.
