Govt. College Kekri

Govt. College Kekri is situated near the hospital on Ajmer Road. It is one of those older government buildings that has been around for a long time. The gates are heavy iron and they creak a bit when you open them in the morning. We have a lot of open space, but it’s mostly just dirt and some patchy grass where the students hang out between their classes. The classrooms are large with high ceilings, which helps keep things a bit cooler when the Rajasthan sun gets really hot. We have those old-style blackboards that still use chalk, so there’s always a bit of white dust on the floor and the teachers' hands. The library is a quiet spot, though some of the books have been there for decades and have that old paper smell. We get many students from the villages surrounding Kekri who take the bus every morning. The administrative block is always a bit chaotic with people coming in for different forms or to get something signed. We have a few trees that provide some shade in the courtyard. It’s a basic college and we don't have any modern glass buildings or anything like that. Everything is a bit worn down but it works. We just follow the daily routine and make sure the bells ring on time for the next lecture. The security guard has been here for years and knows everyone.
