New Rawat Traders

Jaipur Road is a long stretch of tarmac that stays busy from dawn until way after dark. Our shop, New Rawat Traders, sits right in the middle of the Bhona Bhai area. It’s a location that everyone around here recognizes. We don’t have a big, shiny building with glass windows. It’s more of a practical space where we store our goods and talk to our customers. The dust from the road is something we just got used to over the years. We spend a lot of time moving items around to make sure everything is easy to find when someone stops by. Most of our days are spent on our feet. We aren't the type of people who sit in fancy chairs all day. We wear work clothes that can take a bit of a beating. Dealing with people on Jaipur Road is interesting because you get all sorts. Some are regulars who have been buying from us for a decade, and others are just passing through and need something quick. We don't have a big corporate manual on how to talk to people. We just treat everyone normally and get the job done. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, like when the monsoon rains turn the area around the road into a bit of a mess, but we just carry on. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s an honest one. We like the independence of running our own show in Bhona Bhai.
