General Store

Our place is just called General Store, and we are located right near Mahaveer Circle. It’s a good spot because everyone has to pass through the circle at some point during the day. We keep the basics like snacks, drinks, and household supplies. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular storefront with some racks outside. We spend the day watching the traffic go around the circle. It’s a lot of noise, but you get used to the honking after a while. Most people who stop in are in a hurry, so we try to get them their items and change quickly. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. People know what a general store is for, so we don't need to explain much. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck doesn’t show up on time, and we just have to tell folks to try again later. They usually understand. We keep a small stool behind the counter for when things get quiet, but that doesn’t happen too often. Mahaveer Circle is a busy junction, so there is always someone needing something last minute. We don't have a big corporate office or a manager. It's just us running the show and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s a decent way to make a living and we stay busy.
