Galaxy Tiles

Galaxy Tiles is located out on the Jaipur Road in Gegal. We are sitting pretty close to the Balaji Temple, so we tell people to look for that if they are having trouble finding us. Being right on the main road means there is always a layer of dust coming in from the big trucks passing by all day. We have stacks and stacks of tiles everywhere you look, both inside the building and piled up out front. It is a heavy business to be in. Moving those heavy boxes around all day keeps all of us busy and usually pretty tired by the evening. The sun hits the front of our shop really hard in the afternoon, so we try to stay in the shade when we can. We have a small wooden desk where we keep the records and do the paperwork, but mostly we are on our feet. We spend our time showing people the different patterns and sizes we have in stock. Some days are quite slow, and we just sit outside on plastic chairs watching the traffic go by. Other days, three big trucks show up at the same time and it is total chaos trying to get everything unloaded and stacked. We have been here at this spot for a good while now. It isn’t a fancy showroom like the ones in the big cities. It’s more of a warehouse where you can see the real stock we have. We don’t have any polished floors.
