Dezyne Ecole

Our place is on Jln Hospital Road in the Civil Lines area. We are at 106/10, which is easy enough to find if you know where the hospital is. The traffic out front is almost always moving, and you can hear the horns all day long. Inside, it is a bit different. We have tables for drawing and computers for design work. It is not a very formal environment. There are usually scraps of paper and fabric lying around from whatever project is going on. Students come in and out at all hours. We spend a lot of time looking at portfolios or trying to get the printers to work. It is a bit of a lived-in space with sketches pinned to the walls. We have been here for a while and the building shows its age a bit. The light in the afternoon is actually quite good for working. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a place where people sit down and try to create things. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a deadline is coming up. We keep things pretty simple and just focus on the design work at hand. It is mostly just about putting in the hours and getting the projects finished. We like the neighborhood even if it is a bit noisy. It is just where we do our work.
