College The Saloon

We are located on Station Road in Ajmer, which is a place that never really seems to go to sleep. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people coming in and out of the city. Our shop is called College The Saloon, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s a basic place where men come to get a haircut or a quick shave before they head off to work or catch a train. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, and there is always a bit of chatter going on. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. We don't have fancy leather chairs or expensive coffee machines, just a place to sit and wait your turn. Our barbers have been doing this for years, so they know the styles people want. You can hear the sounds of the trains and the busy street noise through the door. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we enjoy talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes tourists from the station wander in too. We keep the mirrors clean and the razors sharp, and that’s about it. It’s just a local shop in a busy part of Ajmer where you can get a decent cut for a fair price.
