Arihant Water System

Our shop is tucked inside R K Market 2, right by Ajmeri Gate. It’s one of those markets where there’s always something happening, so it’s never really quiet around here. We deal with water systems, which mostly means we spend our time looking at filters, pipes, and tanks. The space we have is pretty small, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves just to make room to walk. Usually, I’m the one who opens up in the morning, pushing back the heavy metal door and trying to get some air in. People stop by with all sorts of questions about their home systems or why their water pressure is low. We don’t have a big sales pitch or a showroom. It’s just us sitting among the spare parts and the tools, trying to fix whatever comes our way. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet when we’re testing a pump, but we just mop it up and keep going. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we use a lot of hand torches to see what we're doing. Lunch is usually eaten right at the counter while looking over some diagrams or parts lists. It’s a busy life, and the market can get a bit overwhelming with all the shouting and the scooters zipping by outside. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know most of the other shopkeepers in the row.
