My name is Ankur and I run Ankurs Art over at Hathibhata 174/11. It is a small spot where I spend most of my time working on different pieces. I started this because I just liked making things with my hands. It isn't a huge gallery with white walls and bright lights. It is more of a working space where things get a bit messy with paint and materials. I do various types of art depending on what people ask for or what I feel like making that week. Sometimes I am working on a canvas, and other times it might be something else entirely. People from the neighborhood drop by occasionally to see what is new on the walls. Hathibhata is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside. I have been at this specific address for a while now. The space is a bit cramped, but it fits everything I need. I do not have a big staff, it is mostly just me here. I try to keep the prices reasonable for the locals. It is not a corporate business, just a place for art. You might find me cleaning brushes or sketching late in the afternoon. I like the quiet of the shop when I am focused. If you are walking past 174/11, you will probably see some of my work through the window. It is just a simple art place for the community here.
