Ambey Trading

If you head down Pushkar Road, you’ll find us at Ambey Trading. We are in Shop No. O75/B, right by the Jogra Dharamshala. It’s a busy spot because the Balaji Mandir is very close, so there’s always a lot of foot traffic. We handle a variety of goods here. It’s more of a trading setup than a typical grocery store. We deal with bulk items and daily essentials that local households and smaller shops might need. The space isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to reach the top boxes, but we get it done. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours in the morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to distributors and checking prices. It can be noisy outside with the temple bells and the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we move goods in and out. Most of our regulars come from the nearby residential areas or are just passing through on their way to the temple. We try to be fair and just get through the day's work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around the Jogra Dharamshala area.
