A.K Chokriwal & Company has been a fixture in the Old Mandi area of Kekri for a long time. Our place is pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Ghantaghar and just a stone's throw from Shri Ambika Offset. Being in the Old Mandi means it’s always busy around here, with people coming and going from the market all day long. We handle a bit of everything, mostly stuff that farmers or local traders might need. The building itself is older, with thick walls that stay cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with ledgers and stacks of items everywhere. We don't use much technology besides the basics, preferring to do things the way they’ve been done for years. It works for us and our customers seem to appreciate the familiarity. You’ll usually find one of us sitting near the front, ready to chat or help someone find a specific item. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. If someone wants to know what we have, they just walk in and ask. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like the community feel of the Mandi. There’s always someone stopping by for a quick word or to check on prices. We just try to stay useful to the town and keep the business running steady like it always has. That is the most important part of it for us really.
