B. L. Furniture

We are located at B. L. Furniture, right in Building No. 16 of Shri Durga Market. If you are near the Chand Bawari Mandir or walking around the Goal Market area, you’ve probably walked right past us. We have been making and selling furniture from this spot for quite some time now. Our shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as many tables, chairs, and cupboards as we can. There’s usually some sawdust on the floor and the sound of a hammer or a saw coming from the back where we do the repairs and small builds. It’s a local market, so it’s always loud with people bargaining and vendors calling out. We like the energy of Shri Durga Market. Our customers are mostly folks from the nearby apartments who need something sturdy for their homes. We don't sell that fancy stuff that breaks after a month. We stick to things that last. Sometimes we have to move all the furniture out onto the sidewalk just to get one piece out from the back, but that’s just part of the daily routine. It’s a small family business, and we all pitch in with the lifting and the selling. We aren't looking to expand into some huge showroom; we like it just fine right here near the temple. If you need a solid stool or a wooden frame, you can usually find us here until late in the evening.
