Shree Tiles Pavers

Our place is right near Dena Bank in Bagwanpura. It’s not hard to find if you look for the stacks of tiles piled up outside. We started Shree Tiles Pavers because we saw everyone in the neighborhood needed better walkways. Most days, I’m out there in the yard moving things around. It’s physical work and my clothes usually end up covered in stone dust by noon. we have all sorts of pavers, some smooth and some with more grip. The office is just a small corner with a table and a couple of plastic chairs where we talk to people. Sometimes the fan makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the heat away. We don’t have a big team, just a few local guys who help with the loading. When the rain comes, we have to cover everything with blue plastic sheets. It’s a bit of a mess then. Customers usually come in with measurements scribbled on pieces of paper. We sit down, look at the numbers, and see what fits. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. No one wears a suit here. We just wear what’s comfortable for lifting heavy slabs. The street gets crowded on market days, so getting the truck in and out can be a real pain. The phone rings occasionally with people asking for prices, but most prefer to just walk in and see the colors for themselves. We just take it one day at a time here.
