Sbt Sskl

Our organization, Sbt Sskl, is based out in Tal Sangamner, specifically in the Sahakarmaharashi Bhausaheb Thorat area. It is a place with a lot of history and we are proud to be working here. We mostly deal with the local cooperative side of things, focusing on sugar and helping the farmers in the taluka. The office is usually humming with activity, especially during the peak seasons. We have people coming in and out all day long, some with questions and others with deliveries. It is a very hands-on type of environment. We don't have any sleek modern furniture; it is all very functional and used to the heavy daily use. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or near the processing units. The air in Sangamner can be quite dry, and the sun is often very bright, so we stay busy under the shade when we can. We aren't here to make big speeches or promises. We just want to make sure the cooperative works like it should and that everyone gets a fair shake. It involves a lot of record-keeping and meeting with different committees. Sometimes we have long meetings that go late into the evening. We just take things as they come and try to solve the problems that pop up every day. It’s a community effort more than anything else. We are just local workers trying to keep the legacy of the place going through our daily effort.
