Sanket Traders

Out here in Kashti, things move at their own pace. We are based right at the post in Ahmad Nagar district, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city. Sanket Traders is mostly just a place where we get work done without much fuss. We handle a lot of different items depending on what's needed in the local market. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and a sturdy table where we do the accounts. It gets hot during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day. Dealing with transport is the biggest part of our day. We wait for the trucks to arrive and then help get everything sorted. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the roads, but everyone around here understands how it is. It’s a quiet spot most of the time. We know most of the people passing by. It’s not like those big companies with fancy lobbies. Here, you just walk in and we talk. We’ve been at this for a bit, learning as we go. Some days are long, especially when the harvest season is on. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the paperwork to clear. It’s just honest work in a small town. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Just a local trading spot keeping things moving for the folks around Ahmad Nagar. It's a simple life and we like it.
