Pathare Kadaknath Farm

Pathare Kadaknath Farm is based in the village of Pachunda, which is under the Maka post in Newasa. We are a local poultry farm that specializes in Kadaknath chickens. If you haven't seen them, they are the ones that are black all the way through, even their meat and bones. It is a rural business, so our days start very early with the birds. We have basic sheds and a lot of open space for them to run around. We aren't some big industrial factory farm. It is a family-run type of place where we do most of the work ourselves. The air is fresh, and the life is quiet, except for the sound of the chickens and the usual farm noises. We don’t have a fancy marketing plan or a sales office in the city. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth in the Newasa area. We take care of the birds from the time they are small until they are ready to be sold. It is hard work, especially when the weather isn't helping, but we enjoy being out here. We just focus on keeping the farm clean and the birds healthy. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It is just a farm where we raise good chickens for the people who want them.
