Our place is at 44/45 in the Industrial Estate in Ambattur. It’s a big area, and we’re just one of many units trying to get through the daily grind. Even though the name says R R Techno Mechanicals Pvt. Ltd., we don't really act like a big corporation. It’s mostly just a group of us who have worked together for a long time. The industrial estate is always full of activity, with people hauling materials and the sound of manufacturing everywhere. Our unit is basically a large open space filled with benches, parts, and various machines. It gets quite loud when everything is running at once, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk into the main floor and find one of us. We deal with a lot of mechanical stuff, so there’s usually some grease on our clothes and hands. The weather in Ambattur can be pretty humid, which makes the work a bit tiring in the summer months, but we’re used to it. We keep a stack of old magazines in the corner for when we’re taking a breather. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People usually find us because they know someone who worked with us before. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have to finish. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. There is no point in complicating things when there is work waiting.
