Samarathlaxmi Building Materials

You can find us right on the Nagar-Manmad National Highway in Kolhar Bk. We are located near the post office in the Rahata Taluka area. Samarathlaxmi Building Materials is basically a big open yard where we keep everything people need to build a house. We have piles of sand, bags of cement, and bricks stacked up high. It’s a very dusty job, and we spend most of our day outside in the sun. The highway is always busy with big trucks and buses zooming past, so there is a constant noise that we have just gotten used to. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small cabin where we keep our bills and a few chairs for customers to sit on. Most of our customers are local farmers or people from the village who are adding a room to their homes. We don't do much marketing because people see us as they drive by on the highway. My family has been in this area for generations, so we know just about everyone who stops by. It’s hard work, especially when we have to load heavy bags manually, but it’s what we do to keep things moving. We don't have any grand plans to expand; we just want to keep selling the basics to the people in the District Nagar area.
