Ajit Barde Hardware & Plastic Supply

We are located on the Main Road in Bazar Peth, which is in the Sangamner area. Our shop, Ajit Barde Hardware & Plastic Supply, is right in the middle of all the market action. It’s a very busy street and finding a place to park a bike is nearly impossible most days. We have been here for a long time. The shop is packed with everything from plastic pipes to heavy iron tools. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get around the aisles because we have so much stuff crammed into the space. We don’t have any modern displays or bright lights. It’s just old wooden shelves and boxes piled on top of each other. The floor is concrete and has some cracks in it. We spend our time helping the local farmers who come in needing parts for their irrigation or tools for their fields. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and cutting lengths of pipe. We get quite dusty by the end of the day. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that creak when they turn. We know our customers by name and often stop to have a chat about the weather or the crops. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren’t interested in being a big corporation. We just like being part of the local community here in Sangamner.
