Zain International

You can find us at number 9 in Panchasheela Towers, right on Parklane. It’s a decent spot, and we’ve settled in quite well over the years. Zain International isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees or anything like that; we are just a small team trying to handle international business from our little corner here. The office gets a lot of bright light in the late afternoons, which is nice when you're stuck behind a computer screen for hours. We deal with various bits and pieces coming in and going out of the country. Most of our time is spent checking long emails and making sure the logistics side of things isn't falling apart at the port. Parklane is usually very busy, so there’s always something interesting to look at out the window when we take a break. We started out small and stayed that way because it's much easier to manage things ourselves. There’s no fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us middle-aged guys sorting through some folders or talking to a delivery driver about a late package. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the stacks of papers get a bit high on the desks. It’s just the way it goes when you’re moving items across borders. We like the area, and the neighbors in the building are mostly quiet people. It’s a good, honest place to earn a living without any of that corporate noise you see elsewhere.
