Yogendra Singh Tomar

I started this place at Neelkamal Complex, which sits right behind the Havmor Restaurant in Navrangpura. If you’re from around here, you probably use that restaurant as a landmark when you’re giving directions. Navrangpura is always moving, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been in this office for a good stretch of time now. It’s a small operation, really. Just me and a few others trying to keep things organized. The complex itself is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of different businesses come and go, but we’ve stuck around. It isn't the quietest place to work because of all the people going to get food nearby, but we like the energy. Some days are slow and we just sit around catching up on paperwork, and other days it feels like we can't answer the phone fast enough. We don't have a big corporate manual or anything like that. We just handle whatever comes through the door. Usually, it's just about making sure the records are right and the clients are happy enough to come back. I’ve lived in this city my whole life, so setting up shop here felt like the right move. It’s a practical spot, easy to get to, and it suits the way we do things. Just a regular business in a busy part of Ahmedabad, trying to do right by the name on the door.
