Our office is tucked away in the Nalanda Complex on Premchandnagar Road. We are at unit 103, which isn’t hard to find once you get inside the building. Vastrapur is always moving, and you can see the traffic from our window if you look past the stacks of files. It’s a pretty standard setup here. We’ve got a couple of old wooden desks, some chairs that squeak when you sit down, and a printer that only works when it feels like it. The walls are a bit plain, maybe a little yellowed from the years, but they hold up the roof. We spend the day handling paperwork and taking phone calls that seem to never end. Sometimes we go downstairs to the small shops in the complex to get some snacks or just to stretch our legs. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the old window unit works overtime. We don't really do the whole polished business look. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and try to get through the pile of work on our desks. There’s always someone coming in to drop off a document or ask a question about a project. It’s a basic operation where everyone knows their job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. We just stay focused on the tasks and try to get out before the evening traffic on Premchandnagar Road gets too bad.
